Can I send you a photo of my swing?
Yes, and I recommend it. Each cover has two photo uploads on the order form: one of a corner and one of the whole swing. I check every photo before I cut. Want me to look before you order? Text photos to (843) 813-4040.
Will a cover fit my swing?
Standard Fit covers fit swings with rope tied to eye bolts on the outside of the corner posts, posts up to 3¼" square. Twin fits frames about 43" × 81" and Full about 58" × 81". See How to Measure, or send a photo of your swing's corner if you're not sure.
How does it fit around the ropes?
Each corner has a rope cutout, so the cover slips around the rope and closes with Velcro.
Will water pool on top?
The top panel drops lower at the front, where the arms are lower, so rain runs off instead of sitting on top.
What fabric is it?
SureLast marine fabric, a solution-dyed polyester that resists UV fading, mildew and water. It comes in Black, Gray and Tan.
How do I clean it?
Brush off loose dirt, then rinse with a hose and mild soap if needed. Let it dry completely before folding it for storage.
How long does it take?
Covers are sewn to order and most ship in about 2 weeks. Busy seasons and custom changes can add time.
Rope and hardware
How long are the ropes?
Each rope is your ceiling height plus 5 feet. With the swing about a foot off the floor, that leaves around 6 feet per rope for knots and adjusting the height.
Which rope should I choose?
Unmanila has the look of natural manila in a synthetic rope made for outdoor use, in 3-strand twisted or 8-strand. Twisted polyester comes in black or white and is the most UV resistant.
Do the kits come with hardware?
Rope kits are rope only. Stainless ceiling brackets with S hooks are sold as a 2-point or 4-point set under Hardware.
Orders
Can I return a cover or rope kit?
Covers are sewn to fit and rope is cut to length, so I can't take returns on them. If anything arrives damaged or defective, I'll fix it or replace it. See Shipping & Returns.
