Three measurements tell me everything I need to know about fit. When you order a cover, you'll enter them on the product page using the letters below.
A. Length (side to side)
Measure across the front of the swing, from the outside of one corner post to the outside of the other. Don't count the eye bolts. Most twin and full swings are about 81".
B. Depth (front to back)
Measure along one end, from the outside of the front post to the outside of the back post. Twin swings are about 43"; full swings about 58".
C. Corner post size
Measure one face of a corner post. Standard Fit covers are made for posts up to 3¼" square.
Where the rope attaches
- Rope tied to an eye bolt on the outside of the corner post: choose a Standard Fit cover.
- Rope runs through a block sticking out below the frame, or attaches somewhere else: send a photo before ordering.
Which size?
| Size | A. Length | B. Depth |
|---|---|---|
| Twin | about 81" | about 43" |
| Full | about 81" | about 58" |
D. Ceiling height (rope kits)
Measure from the floor to the ceiling where the swing will hang. Choose the rope kit for that height, or the next size up if you're in between. Each rope is cut to your ceiling height plus 5 feet, which leaves plenty for knots and adjusting the swing's height.
