Four ropes cut to your ceiling height, ready to hang your bed swing.
Rope: 1" Unmanila 8-strand, a braided look in a synthetic manila-style rope made for outdoor use.
How it's sized: each rope is your ceiling height plus 5 feet. With the swing hanging about a foot off the floor, that leaves about 6 feet per rope for knots and fine-tuning the height.
